WFS Probiotics

In major shrimp farming nations white feces syndrome (WFS) has recently been recognized as a serious concern. According to the study carried out at ICAR-CIBA. The WFS has been found to be significantly associated with the microsporidian i.e Enterocytozoon Hepato Penaei (EHP) in P.vannamei. Apart from EHP, bacteria such as vibrio’s, Balilloplasma, Blue green algae and fungi also causes WFS.

Clinical Signs of WFS:
WFS usually seen after 30-40 days of culture. Ponds show white fecal strings floating on the pond surface, For a period of 10-45 days. It causes, Growth retardation, size variations, elevated FCR, loose shell and daily mortalities.

Occurrence of WFS can be reduced by good culture practices and proactive biosecurity measures during WFS affected period, feed can be reduced, good aeration and probiotics usage is highly recommended.

MARINOVA WFS PROBIOTICS effectively controls WFS by developing well balanced intestinal gut microflora and by improving immune response, there by reducing pathogen load which improves white fecal formations. It also improves feed intake, FCR and overall animal health.

Composition: Bacillus clausii, Bacillus polymyxa, Bacillus pumilus,Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis.

For prevention: 10-15 gm per kg feed once daily
For Treatment: 20-25 gm per kg feed twice daily.
